January - Asleep with the Light On

February - Starry Night in the Vineyard

I was treated to this beautiful view outside of our hotel room by my fiancee last February. The starry night sky and stars here were captured in Cloverdale, CA.

March - Footsteps

This image was taken moments after sunset at Rodeo Beach located minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge in the Marin Headlands.

April - Made in His Image

This statue of Willie McCovey is found right along the edge of the bay on the south side of McCovey Cove right next to AT&T Park.

May - Out to Pasture

This award winning image was captured during an afternoon of wine tasting in Sonoma. See the blog post for this image more info.

June - Sunset Bliss

This illuminated metal sculpture, named Bliss Dance, can be found on Treasure Island in the middle of the SF Bay. It was originally created as an art installation at Burning Man, but has found a home here.

July - Golden Gate Bridge 75th Anniversary

I never get tired of shooting the Golden Gate and this time was the most special of all. Read all about it and see video of the celebration on the image's blog post.

August - Down the Lane

After waking up early one morning to shoot the sunrise from Slacker Ridge, I decided to hike a little farther north after the sun was a little higher in the sky.

September - A Child's Wonder

While hunting for pictures with a few friends during San Jose's Christmas in the park last year (2011), I just sat and watched the mechanical marvel that's here. I do it every time, I'm just in love with the sounds and movement. And it appears that this child was, as well, since she stood still long enough for me to grab this image.

November - Cream of the Crop

I left my camera in the car while wine tasting in Napa, but when I spotted barrel all alone, I had to run out and get it.

December - ...And Time Stands Still

On yet another late night photo shooting spree, I was walking up the path at Battery Spencer in the Marin Headlands so that I could grab a few shots of the Golden Gate. As I came around the corner, I spotted these two cuddling and watching the fog roll in. I quietly grabbed a shot of the moment and crept back to my car.
